DVI-F-R is a fiber converter that receives DVI (Digital Visual Interface) signal over multi-mode fiber cable. The unit works in pair with DVI-F-T fiber transmitter. A pair of DVI-F units acts as a DVI extender over fiber optic. DVI interface is known for the short range available over copper. For long reach distance (up to 700 meters) and an EMI resistant solution, the DVI Fiber Extenders are a very affordable and convenient solution. DVI Fiber Extenders can be used for PC's, Set-Top-Boxes, LCD and Plasma displays and any other DVI compatible devices.
